چکیده
Abstract Neuron models exist in different levels of complexity and biological modeling depth. The Hindmarsh–Rose model offers a rich repertoire neuronal dynamics while being moderately mathematically complex. Existing circuit realizations this neuron model, however, require large amount operational amplifiers due to the model’s quadratic cubic nonlinearity. In contrast hardware simpler models, leads higher power consumption. work, is approximated by an ideal electrical that relies mostly on passive elements thus reduces For purpose, we analyze flows equivalent replace several nonlinear constant ones. Moreover, approximate nonlinearity three memristors combination with negative impedance converter. This converter represents only active element required for complete circuit, leading increased energy efficiency compared existing realizations. Simulations verify circuit’s ability generate spiking bursting comparable original model. Graphic abstract

investigating the feasibility of a proposed model for geometric design of deployable arch structures
deployable scissor type structures are composed of the so-called scissor-like elements (sles), which are connected to each other at an intermediate point through a pivotal connection and allow them to be folded into a compact bundle for storage or transport. several sles are connected to each other in order to form units with regular polygonal plan views. the sides and radii of the polygons are...
Memristor-Based Phase-Lead Controller Circuit Design
Memristor predicted and described by L. O. Chua is a new electrical element. Memristor with variable resistance which changes automatically as its voltage changing can be used as a tunable parameter in control systems. Phase-lead controller is widely used in industrial process control applications. The conventional method for adjusting phase-lead controller parameters is based on the “trial and...
متن کاملA Voltage Mode Memristor Bridge Synaptic Circuit with Memristor Emulators
A memristor bridge neural circuit which is able to perform signed synaptic weighting was proposed in our previous study, where the synaptic operation was verified via software simulation of the mathematical model of the HP memristor. This study is an extension of the previous work advancing toward the circuit implementation where the architecture of the memristor bridge synapse is built with me...
متن کاملComplex Dynamics of a Memristor Based Chua’s Canonical Circuit
In this paper the complex dynamics of Chua’s canonical circuit with a memristor instead of a nonlinear resistor, was studied. The proposed memristor is a flux controlled memristor, where the relation between flux and charge is a smooth continuous cubic function. A very important phenomenon concerning Chaos theory, such us, the great sensitivity of the circuit on initial conditions, was studied ...
متن کاملA new DDCC based memristor emulator circuit and its applications
Memristor is a new passive circuit element. The interaction of the memristor with other circuit elements is important for designers. In this paper, new memristor emulator circuit is designed using DDCC (differential difference current conveyor) based on CMOS. It is realized that the proposed emulator causes less complexity compared to other designed emulator circuits. Compatibility of memristor...
